Oncidium Orchid

My orchid plant has blossomed into beautiful flowers.

The Oncidium Orchid is often referred to as a spray orchid due to its slender laterals with sweeping petals. The Orchid is a durable and fragrant tropical flower. This intense yellow Orchid would add an exotic beauty to any wedding bouquet, table centerpiece or flower arrangement.

You look up at the sky when your imagination is running free
You look to the clouds to see crazy things in imagination
Like a zoo for the day dreamer or the wisher.

Outlive Your life by Max Lucado

Outlive Your life by Max Lucado

You Were Made To Make A Difference

Finally, I have finished reading 'Outlive Your Life' by Max Lucado. I was pretty busy the past two Sundays. So last Sunday, I had make sure that I started to read it as much as possible.

Well, about this book. It has 16 chapters. Very systematic and easy to read. I love to read it as it relates lots of stories about different people with different attitudes about life.

I will quote a few lines from this book:

You've been given your life.
Your life will never be lived by anyone else.
In an effort to do good, we can get distracted.
Hopistality opens the door to uncommon community.
To do a good thing is a good thing.
To do good to be seen is not.
Categorizing others creates distance and gives us a convenient exit strategy for avoiding involvement.

But I love this phrase the most:

None of us can help everyone. but all of us can help someone. And when we help them, we serve Jesus.

This book was well written and should be read by anyone at all. It gives us the inspiration about life and thus find happiness in whatever we do.

Towards the end of the book, there are questions for discussion and ideas for actions which I find very appropriate and relevent to our lives.

I would recommend this book to everyone who love life.

Reflection at KTM

I sent off my BIL and SIL to Taiping recently.
They were on their seats and I was outside capturing this view and waving goodbye to them.

As social beings we live with our eyes upon our reflection,
but have no assurance of the tranquillity of the waters in which we see it.
